From the Desk of the Director and HOD

With great pleasure, I warmly welcome you to the Department of Pharmacy at the Southern Punjab Institute of Health Sciences (SPIHS), Multan, which has a proud history of excellence. Our motto is to join "the best to bring out the best." Here, we value every student and have high expectations regarding academics, behavior, and respect for others. The Southern Punjab and the Province of Punjab in particular, as well as the rest of the country generally, have significantly benefited from the excellent pharmacists that the SPIHS Department of Pharmacy has provided. Within a short period, the Department gained popularity in the region owing to its highly qualified teaching faculty, state-of-the-art research facilities, research productivity, and community services. These pharmacists can improve the field while offering the highest level of services to hospitals, community pharmacies, pharmaceutical industries, research centers, and pharmacy education.

Welcome to the Department of Pharmacy at the Southern Punjab Institute of Health Sciences (SPIHS), Multan. Pharmacy is a well-rounded profession, blending science, healthcare, direct patient contact, computer technology, and services. It is the second most chosen medical profession, attracting students of equal medical education capabilities. Our highly qualified faculty of over 30 members, along with national collaborators, provides students with an outstanding learning experience in pharmacy practice. The Pharm-D curriculum, accredited by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) and the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (PCP), balances coursework to prepare students for pharmaceutical care and lifelong learning. We are proud of our history and the outstanding students we produce annually.
